You migh have seen a picture of the gate with a big red paper lantern. It is called "Kaminari-mon" that means Thunder Gate. Let's take photos in front of it.

Going through "Kaminari-mon", many of small shops attracts you.
This shopping mall is called "Nakamise". You can get Japanse beautiful, cute and sometimes funny souvenirs and Japanse traditional snacks and sweets.
Shops are opened around 09:00-10:00 and closed around 17:30-18:00. It would be better to visit there around 10:00-17:00, I think :)

Making your slow progress along "Nakamise", you arrive at "Senso-ji Temple" and "Asakusa Shrine"!
