Sushi for vegetarians

If you are a vegetarian or don't like to eat fishes, please try Sushi which rolls vegetables or beans.

For example,

Kappa-maki
(Cucumber roll. So simple.)

Natto-maki
(Fermented soy beans roll. Natto is known as healthy food, and I love it. However, there are people who dislike it because of its smell and gooey texture.)

Takuan-maki
(Pickled Japanese radish roll. Crunchy texture.)

Ume-Kyu-maki
(Pickled plum and cucumber roll. Somewhat acid.)

Yama-gobou-maki
(Burdock roll. Crunchy texture.)

Let's enjoy them with Gari (Pickled ginger) and Japanese green tea.
They are good with beer and Sake, too:)

Tokyo Tower

Tower Effel in Paris is classic and Tokyo Tower is nostalgic, I think.
Tokyo Tower is a symbol of economic growth.

It is 333 meters high.
There are two observatories; 150M and 250M high.

A guide recommend to visit there in the morning to see the view of Tokyo City clearly. Of course, the night view is good, too.

Mt. Fuji

The splendid view of Mt. Fuji is the treasure of Japan, I think.

From July to August, many people try to climb Mt. Fuji from 5th Station.

The road is covered with snow and closed in winter.

Amount of travel timeabout 2-2.5 hours from Tokyo by car or bus.

Difficulty of communication in English

It is difficult for many of Japanese people to communicate in English. This is one of the reason why there are some people who don't like to visit Japan... I think that it is the serious problem.

If you have leeway in your budget, I recommend you to go along with a guide.

He or she speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, Korea or Thai, and assists you:)

The Imperial Palace is surrounded by moats. Many people enjoy running around it on weekend.

You can walk around the garden, however, cannot go into the palace.
Visitors spend there about 40-60 minutes and take some pictures.
